Default rooster esc

anybody know the max voltage i can run with this esc.....i was thinking a split cell 8 pack at 9.6 volts from tcscrawler.com.....will i ruin it....thanks guys....

factory specs say 7 cell max

but if your willing to void your warentee ive seen some people running w/ 8 cells w/o problems
