It's not how much you spend to get started you should be worried about. It's how much your gonna spend once you start believe me it's a lot.

I've bought all new, but I've seen some good deals in the classifieds here for rigs that are, for the most part, already upgraded. Some have radios, batteries, etc and are ready to run. Just an option.

first post. i'm not trying to steal the thread. just a nuub sticking my head in as i' bored with regular rc trucks. i've had traxxas only and have done all i can do with them. i know that i can keep the elecs, buy a artr axial and dump everything plus a 55t and get to crawling but i just don't want the short length. can anyone can just tell me what to get, you know, a shopping list of parts to save for. i've spent so much on my other toys like skating and records over the last twenty years that i'm bummed i didn't give crawling a try.
