trimming memory foams???
 
I was wondering if you should trim memory foams width or not ?? any help would be great

dont trim memory foams, just stuff them in.

x3 i've trimmed memory foams before, don't, their too soft

well it also depents on the tire you have it in. also what you want to do as in where you crawl and if you side hill alot. i have mine cut and slivers of losi claw foams on the out side of the foams for side hill support. best thing is to try it to see if you like it.

Try cutting them in th star pattern like many have suggested,but taper the outer edge about 3/8 down the side and across the top from the corner.It softens the outside of the tire alot.

you really dont want to cut the memory foams. stock style foams ok, but the memmory foams are so soft already, cutting them will likely result in a tire that gets little to no support.


now if your modding or Hybriding then thats a different story, or cutting 2 down to stuff one tire, but cutting one foam (unless its just a HUGE foam like some are) to fit into one tire, is prolly going to cost you more money than anything.
