Default Batteries and charger

Can anyone recommend good batteries and a charger. I am going to be using the Novak 55t with ESCin a RC4WD Diablo if that helps. I would prefer a battery that lasts at least 15 mins.

Lipo or NIMH? Money a problem? Either way 15 minutes should not be a problem.

Just about all of JRH's stuff is good.

Money is not a big problem although I don't want to pay thousands. Something that is an average battery that most people use and will work with what I have. Do most people have Lipo? I also want the same for the charger not the best, not the worst something that works and will work with the batteries. Thank you

P.S. I saw on here someone was using 3 lipos what is the difference if you use more.

Probably just a 3 cell lipo. Each lipo cell is 3.7 volts. So a 2 cell is 7.4 volts and a 3 cell is 11.1 volts. I run a 3 cell.

I would talk to JRH and he will help you out with your best options and the price range your looking at.

hobbypeople.net has some good prices on nimh batteries right now and the Duratrax Piranha charger is hard to beat for 50 bucks.

I haven't spent the money for lipo yet.

hobbycity.com has a pretty good NiMH/NiCd/LiPo balancer/charger for $38, and has some decent 3S Lipo's for just $19. I've been very happy with the charger (Turnigy Accucel-6) and batteries so far.

Many use NiMH saddle packs that fit on the front axle, but many also run 3S Lipos, which are lighter. Go with at least 1300mah for decent runtimes. I have a 2200mah 3S pack that I run on the rear axle, and I get nearly an hour of runtime.

No reason to start a new thread on this,
I want to use my 2200mah 3s Lipo (from my Trex 450 Heli) for my AX10, What speed control do you use XPLORx4? is there anything else I need to make this work?
Thanks
