Default servo noises on my mrc

I started to drive my stock mrc and when ever i turned right the servo would make this horrible grinding noise and so whenever i turn right it is really annoying. Why is it making this noise? Do I need to buy a new servo? Please help!

time for a new servo. those little guys are great for a while but dont last forever. i would switch it out for a fullsize.maybe a hitech 645mg. plenty of power and easy to make a mount for it.

No, not without modifications. Any servo of the same size will work, provided it has enough torque...

I have 5 or 6 battery packs thru a hitec 225mg with flatirons and weight in the wheels and it has not given me any problems at all. Doesn't get warm either.

Yes. go with the 645mg servo...Usually can find them shipped for ~$30 Check Ebay. or you can look at towerpro 995mg servo. Very cheap and I've been running them lately. Using 4 right now. 2 for a super crawler and 2 for my 2 2.2 sized and they work awesome. Plenty power, not super fast but seem to hold up so far. It's been 7 months now.

Wink Hitec 645

I have been using a 645 on my MRC for 4 months and love it. You can use an Axial servo mount and drill new mounting holes on the plate. Lots more torque than stock servo.
