Dig and comps? Hey guys, looking into upgrading my crawler, or starting from scratch on a super ish build, i contiplate designing in dig, but is it comp legal typically? i live in south lake tahoe now and well be heading up to boreal for the axial west coast next year, i rember reading dig was not legal in any way during this last comp. whats the norm? id prefer to not go through the trouble, but i do want to be competitive on that scale. thanks |
DIG is legal according to USRCCA. Some smaller clubs in certain areas might not allow it. Just have to check with the clubs in your area. |
You want to build a Super? Dig is most definitely allowed in that class. Here are the USRCCA rules: http://www.usrcca.com/rules2008.pdf |

The new 1.9 class does not allow dig. The person who founded and runs the West Coast Finals owns a shop not too far from you in Reno (CKRC). |
You're thinking of the Novice class which did not allow dig. 2.2 Pro class does. Less and less clubs seam to be holding Super Classes in their comps. In fact I am not aware of any comps for Supers in Norcal this season (fall 08 to now). If you are starting from scratch, look into building a MOA rig. |
