Traxxas xl-1, futuba, hi-tech agg......

I have decided on gettin the traxxas xl-1 speed control since im on a tight budget, and was wondering if anyone knew if there was somewhere to get it for cheaper than 39.99 (rcplanet.com), i am also looking for a futuba or hi-tech aggressor radio? I dont know much bout either one but was reccomended these two due to being on a budget, and if there are any used ones floating around out there please hit me up.....any info would be greatly apreciated. thanx alot........ i am also planning on keeping it stock without a winch or anything like that, and i think i heard that you need a remote with more channels to run these things, so would a 2 channel radio work?!?!?!?!?!
