| Which crawler for a newbie
I am brand new to this variety of RC and wanted some advice for my first crawler. Should I get a AX-10, wait on the new Losi or get the mini Losi. I don't have enough for everything so just one. |

imo, if ur not planning on competing, dont have a bunch of friends that crawl, and just plan on crawling around the house or local spots, and dont have any current radio gear or electronics, you should get the losi mrc. for the other situations, you should get the ax10 artr or the new losi 2.2 coming out.

| Same question
I was asking the same questions you are? I was pretty much sold on the losi mini until I had a chance to check out some crawler in person. I was lucky enough to get to drive a couple scale rigs and an axial crawler. I'm saving up for the 2.2. If you want to be serious I think it's the way to go. |

Thanks for the input, I have driven a axial kit twice and liked it but I know the 1.9 class is growing pretty fast and was wondering if it would be easier to learn there first. |

not to mention that he prob doesnt have any radio gear, batteries, or charger yet, and you get way better radio gear in a rtr losi mrc than a rtr ax10. | |

my first crawler was the mrc i love it we have monthly comps with 1.9 mrc and the 2.2 rigs and we run both on the same course so the mrc can do just about everything the 2.2 can with a few mods and besides the mrc is ceaper and u can run it in alot more places u can the 2.2s

Id say it boils down to what YOU really want. Also take into consideration parts availabilty, parts cost etc....also keep in mind after market support etc. The Axial is proven, the MRC is no doubt a fun lil truck and the big Losi will no doubt be on par with the rest of their product line( damn good). Dont forget you also have the Venom, the Duratrax whatever its called etc...ID say pick what you like the best and go from there...no sense in buing a truck u dont like just because we told you to. |
