Default noob motor choices

Hey all, I have noob question about motor choice.

I want to build a comp crawler, I'm waiting until the 1/10 losi shows up.

My question is between say a 45t lathe motor, or some sort of brushless I think. Are there other brushed I should consider? Inrunner/Outrunner? I have a mamba max esc, so I think I'm setup power wise for anything.

Since the losi is worm gear drive, I don't think I need to worry about motor holding power. Or do I?

Help a noob out picking a motor please .

Its really going to depend on the final gear ratio of the Losi. Might just have to wait till it comes out and see what others are running in it.

X2 but personally I like a 45 on my comp rig because it has enough wheel speed when I need it but it also has good torque.
