Default Axial cut skid plate

I am building a axial and i want to move the lower links to the inside and i am only 15 so i am trying to do this cheap with out buying another skid plate, and i saw a couple people who had just cut there original plate and i was wondering if any of you have any pics or any advice thanks.

If you have a drill press, I can send you my TCS delrin one. You would just need to drill the side mounting holes.

i dont have a drill press but i can get access to one and would it move the links inside and thanks for the offer:-P

If you go to the home page then into the tech section you will find CKRCCrawlers have done a peice on how to prep your ax10. look through this and you will find photos of how a cut out skid plate looks.

They list all the different size bolts etc that you will need, I used some spares that I had and cut them to the right length with a dremel, if you do cut bolts down its a good idea to put a nut on the bolt below where you are going to cut so after you make the cut you undo the nut and it helps to fix the thread at the cut.

and if you just want to get it done quick, use a dremmel on the piece. it workes fine and comes out clean, be careful.
