which be better for a beginner which is more durable and which has better upgrades

Well, the Losi isnt out yet, so the upgrades for that system are probably "limited".

Chances are,the Kyosho with be more durable.

Since the Losi is a 10th scale rig and the size of it's components are probably similar to an Axial,it's probably safe to say it'd be on the same level of durability. Hard to say for sure though since it's not available to the public yet.

Since allot of the components in a Kyosho rig are either out of an 8th scale buggy or equivalent,you'll see a big strength gain there.
