Wheel Speed - RPM's ???

Hello, I am new to Rock Crawling and have a question on wheel speed. I have searched the forums and can only find answers like "good wheel speed", but not a definitive number. I know this question is subjective and will depend on each person's style. But generally speaking what is a range of rpm's for the wheel speed that I should be looking at for a 2.2 crawler?

If this has been answered in another thread please point me to the right place.

Thanks for the help!

You want a motor that will turn as many RPM's as possible and still give off good slow speed control.
I have found that with Axial,Berg, and clod based rigs a 35T motor works the best IMHO.

Your right Joe. 35t's work very well....specially on a 3 cell. Some set ups can accommodate a Cobalt puller. MUCH better low end and much faster to spool up."thumbsup"

Novak 45t or 55t with an 8-cell will give you all the wheel speed you need.

I would have to disagree.
I would not run anything less than a 3-cell lipo and nothing slower than a 45t motor.

Wish you could fit a puller in your rigs, you'd LOVE'em

I run my pullers at 38:1 on 3 cells and it's awesome. A 35t needs a touch lower gear since it ain't quite got the sack a pullers got.
