Need Help With MX3-FG FHSS 2.4GHz

I bought this radio and I followed the directios to bind the radio to receiver but I can't get it to work. The radio LED stays on but the receiverLED blinks and once I let the binding button go it shuts off :???:. Has anyone else ever had this problem?
