| Oh no
If you have building experiance the just buy the axles!! then look up kamikazi kustoms and order you a kit for I think 119.00 and you will be comp ready. the berg kit aint bad, just the rod ends are weak and loose and the chassiss plates are metal as with the tvp's. trust me if you can get kk to sell ya one you cant go wrong.. Oh and dont forget to order you a set of good shocks if you use the kk 3.5 IMO.

I went with the kit even though i would be using just the axles, because the wheels i could sell for $50 to someone who have an axial, the $200 for the axles only gives you the axles, so you still need to spend money on servo mounts, pinion gears, and all those peices of allthread for the links.

I also started with the kit from amainhobbies.com last spring they had a sale for like $259 so I bought it an stuck it in my basement till almost Xmas! (i was pre-occupied w/me WK) Tricked myself...boy was I happy when I noticed that the berg platform took off! went up in price and I had one in the box shelved! I built the kit, ran a pack through it and took it apart and built it from the ground up mostly with parts I made in my basement. I still have the whole kit assembled minus the axles (cheap cheap) I think the best upgrade you'll make is the frame. Dont waste your cash and time trying to tame the stock frame. Then tune your suspension to your driving style... you are off and running sir...with maybe the best start possible Look in the sale section....great deals a waiting! | |
