Exclamation need help with driveshafts

i bought the ckrc rockstar chassis and their dig and need some help connecting two female driveshafts together in order to be long enough for the front end. for some reason, the tranny is now pushed back a little further than stock. i also bought the traxxas heavy duty driveshafts if that makes any difference. so, i have tried tire glue wrapped in duct tape to hold it and its strong enough but cant handle the torque the motor is putting out and rips apart. i tried that twice. does anyone have any suggestions?

thanks, max

Cut the yoke end off a male driveshaft and slide it inside the two female halves.
