Default lipo?

i would like 2 switch over just for more room what will i sacrifice besides money. ive heard lopo will pack a big punch at first then settle into a more constant drive i belive ther is a 7.4 lipo version. really just wondering if lipo will cause my mrc 2 be more jumpy on the throttle when i engauge it

You wont really notice it except at full throttle, Only other thing you lose is the weight from the nimh pack.

What you will notice is that the rig will be lighter and that you'll have the same power at the start as you have at the end of the charge. NimH packs drop right from the get go. You'll also see longer run times as well. Just remember if you go Li-Po with the stock esc you'll need either a Low Voltage alarm or a LVC unit to protect the pack from over discharging. Another option is the new Novak Mini Mongoose crawler system. The motor and esc combo are ready for a 2S and even a 3S Li-Po. I run mine on a 3S 1100 and it has tons of power.
