I just blew my steering servo on my Losi MRC. What's a good replacement?

Most get a new servo mount and upgrade to a fullsize servo. I have a nice 645mg Hitec that works great. I got the mount from RCBros.com It works great and has tons of torque.

Don't put one of the hitec "mighty mini's" hs-5245 on it.. I put one on and didn't even get to make it to the floor to test it out... Tested it a few times getting things centered, working out the servo horn length for hte ball end etc, and it burned out right on the bench. The BEC in the ESC also went with it. I've also not had luck with the hitec HS225 either... kind of cursed I think... The $19 200oz full size is going in there next!! |

I also have the hitec 645 mg in mine and it works great, I actually have two now that I went to rear steer. They work great as long as you can get a full size servo mount, I made one with a metal box I had laying around. I heard that the ax-10 mounts will work as long as you redrill the holes so they will mount to your axles. |
