| Got my MRC!
I got my MRC saturday. I think I made an awesome choice for my first crawler.. Since I have a huge sinus infection, I can't go outside... So I'm crawlin on the couches and such... Even though this is my first one, I read the forum a lot, and decided for my first "mod" would be to remove/lessen the COG. So I took out the battery tray, and gutted the electronics to the rear, moved battery up front, and moved the shocks to the chassis. I will try to get pics today, but thats not guaranteed. Are there any other free/cheap mods I can do? I know I need to get weights for the front and rear wheels, but anything else that would come in handy? And thank you everyone who has helped my so far! I will probably need more help along the way! |

I've pretty much done the same... shortened the body height a little, dropped the shell down on the frame, using 2s 1300 lipo, and the losi threaded shocks. The shocks were a nice upgrade for sure. Adding weight to the wheels also helped quite a bit. I've been crawlin the couch a lot too, its too much fun! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmVMnT52M1U (couch crawlin!) |
