Default Questions about the 1.9 scale look

As a New Guy I spent some time the other day @ RCP Crawlers and must say these Guys know their stuff and Wow they got some nice looking Rigs

Now I think I'm hooked on the scale look and really want a Hummer Bad.....

Now for my questions
I will be getting a SCX10 over the AX10 and want to know what motor to run 55 or 45 turn for trail use or ???

Should I go with a 2 ch or 3 ch radio?

What about the gearing whats a good place to start?

Thanks Guys

as far as the gearing goes i went with the stock gearing and a 55 turn. it has great low speed control but there are times when i need a little more wheel speed. i think it may depend on your driving style but i would say go with the 45 turn

the radio. unless you plan on running rear steer, a dig or a winch you really dont need it

get the third channel. you never know if you end up wanting a winch, lighting, etc. unless the difference in price breaks the bank just get 3 ch.

stick with stock gearing and a 55t until you're more familiar with the rig, how to drive it, etc. once you have more experience with it you'll know better what you want and need based on how you use it.
