axles i am in the process in building a 1:6th scale hummer crawler but i need big axles does anyone have a company or a web page for me to contact so i can start the build of my rig . |
Rc4wd has some 1/5th scale axles http://rc4wdstore.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=885 http://rc4wdstore.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=887 |
take a look at WK axles, or X-factor axles... or even mad force/twin force |
Even Clod axles will help you here. |
TXT Axles. |
hey sweet thanks guys i didn't think TXT axles or even Clod axles where big enough , you should be able to get those at your local hobby shop or do you have to order it in? |
your best bet to find a set of clods or txt's... either look in the classified section. Unless your LHS has an open kit... i doubt you will be able to get just axles from them. check out http://www.jpcustomrcs.com/home.html they have clod axles (stock, or modded)... or even look on ebay. |
Most of the hobby shops I have been to dont carry TXTs or Clods. I found a good deal of a set of used TXTs on e-bay. |
sweet thanks that's what ill do ill also do a bit of researching to find out what the better axles are for me thanks guys . |
you could go with a ford 9" with dana 60's... i mean if you dont want them to break that is |
you think they would fit in with my 1.6th scale rig lol!!!!!!!!!! |
Its not a question of whether they would fit your rig, Its more a question of your rig fitting them... LOL |
lol!!!!!!!! they might work if i had a 1:1 scale rig but maybe with the same gear ratio and the benefits of an actual size diff but for a 1:6 scale that would be killer |
well those axles are sexy they should be good enough to drive super jumbo swampers though right |
