I can see not letting someone in and for them to sell stuff, but why not let someone in who is looking to buy a crawler just don't let me sell? Is that reasonable?

I agree! I was bitten by the bug last week and was jonsing to buy a rig. I was going to see if there are any good rigs for beginners in the Classifieds but since I couldn't get access until after 30 posts, I bought a new one from Tower.

I know I would have gotten a better deal in the Classifieds (I also fly helicopters and often get good deals in the Classifieds) but it's too late now... When I get access I'll just be looking for parts and accessories, etc. I'm out of the market for another rig until I'm used to the new one.

Well how many times have you seen someone join other forums and their first and only posts are for sale ads and they burn people? Having to buy access is a small way of weeding out the low lifes, plus your supporting an awesome site, and you'll get access to some freaking sweet contests.

I'm new. I saw a video on YouTube that said this is the place to find good deals on used items. So, I signed up. At first, I was discouraged by the 30/30 rule. How was I supposed to get 30 posts? I'm a newbie, what do I have to contribute? Surprise, surprise. I have learned more in 29 days and 30+ posts than I have learned in the 11 months I've been in the hobby. I also learned that I know more than I thought I did. I found all kinds of people on this site that had the same questions that I had when I started. Hopefully, we all have learned something from each other. Also, most of the members seem to be good people who just want to share their interest, knowledge and curiosity about the hobby. Yeah, I know 30 days seems like a long time, and 30 posts seems like a lot. However, I know when I do purchase something from the classifieds, I will make a much smarter buying decision. I may find a great deal in the classifieds, but joining this forum has given me so much more. It gave me knowledge and a sense of community. That is why I believe RCCRAWLER and its 30/30 rule exist. Thanks to this forum and all of its members.

Problem: I have had my star for close to a week. I still can't post replying to classified ads, even after several messages to webmaster to correct the situation.

If the problem is not resolved soon I am going to contact PayPal and get money for star back because I did not receive privileges I am supposed to have received by purchasing the star.

You obviously never read the rules if you think you not being able to reply in the fs section is a privilege you didn't get after paying .

Anyone else using the tapatalk app on their phone having issues with the forum. I can't see the classifieds from there anymore. That was the fastest way to keep an eye on the for sale thread. Any help us appreciated.
