Default ??? rear steer

bought my ax10 about a year ago, and put the rear steer kit on it, then in memory of my bruiser that i still have (with a blown up clutch) i bought an x-trail conversion kit for it. what is the big deal with no rear steering on "scale rigs" and why is it considered such a big no no? i have since bought an scx10 and no way can it have rear steer. i see 1:1 crawlers/trucks(factory chevy 2500) with it. so since i put my shocks on the out side of the frame so my rear steer kit will work on my x-trail. will i be commiting some type of bad thing among the scale world.

its done all the time on 1:1 rigs so sure go ahead and build a scaler with it, not a big deal, most people stay away from it cuz its not comp legal, but if you have no plans to compete go crazy

i'm sorry i guess what i am asking is why is it not legal. if i posted in the wrong spot originally im sorry... i'm running 1.9 slingers on scx10 wheels, thats why i posted in 1.9 scale area. also are there any shocks that are sprung neutrally and internally. i.e. maybe short spring on both sides of the piston so the suspension could lift and pull which ever it may need at the time.i just thought that would be cool then if the suspion unloaded the springswould not push the truck on its side or bang so hard when it went off of a ledge or drop off.

to be honest im not sure whyt its not comp legal id assume just for the fact that it would make things so easy and would give some rigs a massivly unfair advantage over every one who doesnt have it.

as far as nutral spring shocks goes, you can play with spring set ups both externall and inernally and get what ever kind of set up you want
