with the stock 27T motor in the axial scorpion and the 14 tooth gear,If I put a 55T motor in will it not go faster? I don't want it faster.or does it give it more torque.Thanks.

It want be faster, but you'll have more low end control and more torque.

the 55T will make it go slower, not faster. The fewer turns in the moter, the faster it will run.

Ya want a fast motor with plenty of torque??? Get a Holmes 7T puller motor....
That should get the job done...

Default 55 turn Motor

The 55 turn motor will give you more low in power and better control over your rig during crawling.

Ya could also just get a smaller pinion/larger spur to gear that 27t down. Than when ya upgrade to 3s and a good esc ya will allready be set for a good 35t handwound. All the cheap motors put out about the same power, just at different speeds.
