I tweeked it a little so that I can use the dial for trimming the amount of mixing. That way I can dial power forward/aft.

http://www.tcscrawlers.com/TCS-Crawl...r-p-16948.html I used to run them on my axial and they did amazing. Mount em to yer axle on either side of your servo. There out of the chassis, moving the weight up front, and also cleaning up your electronics

You just need to remember, they are 2/3 amp cells. So you will need to charge them on less than an amp. If you only have a charger that can charge 2-4 amp I advise to either get a new charger, or try to find a different battery. They will take a 2 amp maybe 4 times, then start popping, and soon they get HOT... and start smoking... and quit on you in the middle of a comp while your doing really good |

They are a little more expensive but are well worth the money. I have been running 2 of them for the last 18 months without problem. I have wasted more money on servos than anything else. In a years time I went through 2 Hitec 5645's, 1 JR ST125MG, and 4 Towar Pro 995's. If you plan on staying in this hobby for a while or competing go ahead and spend the money now or you will regret it.

Yeah, having a good servo is definetly a thing that will help you tremendously. Im so used to running the crappy stuff in comps that driving my berg with something like my HS-5955 which is basically the CS-170 (The 5955 is discontinued) Is SO amazing! I absolutley love hearing my berg knuckles hit my axle case Last edited by Colby; 08-01-2009 at 07:11 PM. |

Couple of serious noob Q's: 1. What is the difference between (or definition of) "comp rig" vs "basher"? It seems clear enough and I *think* I know, but you know what they say happens when you assume... 2. If one was to add both a front and rear dig to, say, an ax10, would one require a 4 channel radio? Or is there a way to make it work with just 3 channels? Thanks. \oo/_ _\oo/ Last edited by nathanotis; 08-02-2009 at 12:23 AM. |

A comp rig is a rig designed to compete against other people/ rigs. A basher is just something you build that doesnt really have any kind of meaning, you just built it to have fun with. You do not need a 4ch radio for an ax-10 dig. you can just use a 3ch radio with a 2 position switch |
