Default fastest motor in a crawler

just finished my scx10 and since i already have a 55t motor in my crawler i want to make this one fast. i was wondering what esc and motor would do good, i want fast but something that the stock drivetrain will hold up to. i don't plan to crawl with it. looking at brushed and brushless setups

What kinda weight are you talking about. A stock silver can would be cheap and pretty peppy on a 3 cell. Ain't gonna break any speed records with it,but it'd be fun. Depending on weight, you could gear up a bit if you need a little more speed. The 27t would give you an idea on what speed motor you really want and be a cheap test motor.
