| Differences between these two yokes http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...927x&search=Go This is the first one i am curious about.. trying to figure out which yokes will fit my outdrives at the tranny and axle... what size outdrive is this yoke intended for? 5mm 6mm? Im using an axial tranny fitting Maxx shafts... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...928x&search=Go This is the other yoke... Im using wheely king axles which i think need a 6mm yoke... so which yoke for tranny? and which for axle.. OR ARE THEY THE SAME? |

I wouldn't use either of those yokes. They're plastic. You want these: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...628x&search=Go ...which will fit these: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXJH85&P=ML |

I guess I am more concerned with what size yokes will fix my outdrives... Which yoke goes on the axial tranny side (4mm outdrive? 5mm?) and then which to put on the axle side ( Wheely king axle = 5mm outdrive? )??

The axial parts take 5mm yokes and the WK parts take 6mm, unless you upgraded to the HD ring and pinion that take 5mm as well.

Here's what I use going from an R2D trans (5mm outputs) to WK axles (6mm inputs) Yokes: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...928x&search=Go Shafts: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXSP55&P=M Adapter for trans side yoke: http://www.tcscrawlers.com/RC4WD-5mm...0-p-16417.html Drill out the adapter to accept the yoke pin and have fun Edit: These are for 5mm shafts, won't fit wk axles, or the larger maxx shafts so save your money http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...628x&search=Go |
