| Radio/electronics question
I have been playing with my Ax-10 I bought from the classifieds, and I am having some issues. I bought a traxass radio for it and it came with a castle sidewinder esc, and a castle bec. When I am running, it will suddenly jump in the oppisite direction like it is getting a false signal or interference, frustrating when you are trying to do a techincal climb. When I take the body off the esc is showing that it is getting the signals to cause it to "jump". Are there certain things I need to follow when placing the radio and esc, or is it antenna placement, bad radio?. I don't think it was doing this before, but I haven't been running it that long to know for sure. It does this intermitently, but when its not doing it, it works fine. |

I would really go ahead and spend some money and get a DX3R. Then you will never have to worry about your radio again or interference. |

| he is right if you have 320 bucks laying around. or get a traxxas tq3 and look up the mod on here to make it a 3 position 3rd channel, but to answer your question if there is someone else running around you with the same crystals that coul dbe your problem. the crystal is the colored square on the bottom of your radio.

I actually have the tq3 radio. No there is nobody around. I live out in the country and the closest place is 1 mile away. | |

yes you can get interference from the motor/esc/wires, try and mount your receiver and antenna as far away from them as possible.
