| Three total n00b questions
1. Do I need the hardware kit for the Tamyia F-350 body or can I just assemble it with super-glue? 2. What kind of ESC do I need to run the Cobalt 10t puller motor? I would like to stay waterproof if possible. 3. On the SCX10, does the spur gear get in the way of installing an interior? I have looked into a t-case and know this is an option, but if I don't need it, good. Sorry for being a n00b, but I want to build it right the first time. thanks. |

1. No, the Tamiya kits come with nuts and bolts. 2. a waterproof esc won't be very good for a puller, get a castlecreations mamba or sidewinder. 3. all depends on your interior and how low you mount the body, but overall I would say, Yes. |

As far as the esc is concerned, I run a 7T cobalt (not JRH but the same) with an mtronics rv15 on 3s. The esc gets warm, 38 celsius at most while the motor roasts between 45 and 55 celsius. These cheapo mtronics are business but lack adjustability. Personally I do not care much about drag brakes and throttle curves from the esc so this esc in conjuction with a CC bec is a awesome combination.

Super glue wont hold. your going to need to make some brackets to combine them both together. also, for bolts buy M3 bolts from mcmaster | |
