Default Tranny Recommendations

Need advice on which tranny to purchase. Stampede or e max. This is for a home brew crawler.
Thanks,
Gary

how big of a truck are you making? If it will be running 2.2 or smaller then just go with an axial trans. They are tuff and small.

It really depends on what your rigs weight and power requirements will be. If it's over 12lbs or over 10lb with a high power setup I'd really look at using the Emaxx tranny. Less than that use the Pede tranny.

Thanks. I am looking at a e max transmission in the classifieds. 35.00 for tranny and revo shafts. Do you guys think this is a deal?
Thanks,
Gary
