| list of cheap and free mods
was wondering if people could make a list of cheap and free mods for basically all crawlers to help me and im sure other newbs would appriciate it to thanks

move all of your electronics down and forward. put more weight (or rocks if you want to be really cheap haha) in your front wheels. slightly bend your brush springs to hold your motor brushes tighter to the motor (better drag brake) drill air holes in your wheels. |

Good idea, but a lot of the cheap/free mods are crawler specific and go more into tuning than modification, which is greatly effected by driving style, or, in my case, lack of style. For instance, a relatively cheep mod for the AX-10 is to convert it over to 4-link, this reduced torque-twist and makes it a little more tunable throughout, but this mod would not apply to those trucks that come with 4-link, or have a link setup like the Kyosho.

Visit your local dollar store, you can find all sorts of cheap goodies, especially LED lights, pipe cleaners and many others like small airtight plastic snack containers, a sealed radio box, ect.

i got some sticky tire weights from my local auto store and removed my tire and stuck them to the inside of my rim and they seem to work really well |
