Default New to crawlin.. RC since 1989..... chassis/kit suggestions?

I just found my way over from a post on Scale 4x4, I'm lookin to build a truer to scale RC to complement my touring cars etc....
I'm looking at 2 differnt vehicles I think....
I want a scale looking RC and have considered the Tamiya Pajero or Wrangler on the CC01 chassis.... It willbe great to do mini trail rides in but won't be a big boudler crawler...
I've also considered both an Axial SCX-10 or an AX-10 with the full frame rails and maybe do a late 80's Toyota pickup or Nissan King Cab "four wheeler" like would be seen on the trails... I REALLY don't wanna do a Wrangler but, to each his own... opinions? other possible suggestions? I grew up racing traxxas trucks before they were cool..now, its like playing catch up all over again! Thanks in advance..

Welcome!

I would recommend a SCX. They have much more performance and adjustability

X2 plus they are alot more durable. They have an 11.5" WB so theres going to be alot of options out there for scale looking bodies you can run on it too.
