| rmb2485's newbie intro
Just joined the forum and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm new to RC, but a couple of guys I work with are into crawlers and they got me hooked. I've been looking for a used Axial AX10 on ebay and am looking at the Redcat RS10 as well, but any other suggestions are welcome. Just because threads are always better when they have pictures, and its somewhat related...here's the rig I usually play with... |

Welcome to the Forum Ebay is a good place to shop but you will have better luck finding a crawler in the Classifieds section here on RCC. Once you have been a member for 30 days and have 30 posts you will have access to the Classifieds section. Or you can buy a Star for $25 and have access to it Today. Nice Jeep. I have a Cherokee XJ |

A star is only $20 and well worth it. If you want a used rig the classifieds here are better than ebay.

Thanks for the responses, guys. I've looked through the classifieds with my buddy at work, but most of the stuff in there is already built and I'm looking for something as close to stock as possible so I can beat the hell out of it, break it and upgrade it myself.

Question for you guys. I'm still looking for a first crawler and I've been concentrating my search on the Axial AX-10 based on my buddy's opinion, but I've also come across a few Venom Creepers. I searched on here and it looks seems like people stay away from the Venom because the Axial has more aftermarket support, but other than that is the Venom a good rig? I don't care much about aftermarket support because I'd rather make something myself or at least make something that wasn't made to fit fit than buy a bolt on anyway.
