| alright, i searched and found this thread- Quick Pede tranny question, but it seemed unanswered. my question is, how many people here are running the metal idler gear, and the metal top gear togethger? and is there any radio noise from that combo? scoot |

| I just built my latest Pede tranny using both metal gears, I haven't tried it yet though. I just lubed the gears, as Highmark suggested in the thread you linked, so we'll see what happens. |

| l have alu idler and the top metal gear in my pede and rustler (same tranny) and l haven`t noticed any interferrance. Just use some grease. http://www.misbehavin-rc.com/pit-lan...inum-idler.asp |

| mmm whats the benefit of using metal gear in the pedetranny? When you use it for crawling you don't put that much strain in it, do you??? Never happened nothing to my pedetranny's. |

| when ive run the two metal gears together the steel gear wears the alum gear teeth to a point . eating the diff gear. |
