Yes, you can.

Just be sure your ESC can handle 3S LiPo's.

meaning if you get the motor esc combo with the rooster no, but like a sidewinder or tekin yes you can run 3s lipo

I ran that motor through hundreds of ni-mah packs then hooked up to the 3s and it tooked the abuse I offered it just fine. Shortly after that I noticed and extreme loss of power. Probaly just the brushes...

That really dosn't make sence to me but the motor is still fine, just needs new brushes.
