I think it was the body. The original was red and the new one was blue. I don't think there was any gearbox differences.

I'm pretty sure the original body was white, not sure of the new one but I believe it too is molded white. I've got some old one's but have not seen a new one to side by side. I presume since there are a ton of kits without axels on ebay that the axels are the same. The old Clods seem to have a higher resale if they are prestine condition with working lights etc. otherwise alot of people seem to take the axels and use them for a different crawler chassis. I just hooked up an EVX and 2 3000mah NiMH batteries two one of my stockers and it runs like a monster! I run the same thing on a `Zilla II and it screams too.

Mechanically there's no difference, the drive train is the same. The differences that I noticed between my original clod and my super clod are:- 1. different blower for the hood/bonnet (it's square rather than round). 2. super clod decal set. 3. different coloured shocks/bumpers etc. 4. the metal plates from the Bullhead have been included (to stop the ball joints from being ripped out of the stock chassis). 5. the mechanical speed controller has a safety device, presumably a thermal cutout or a fuse. Other than that, both of my clods are the same. I can't think of any other differences...
