Default Will this body fit on this chassis?

Hey guys,
I'm new here and I am wanting to get into this awsome hobby. So here is my first newbie question:

Do you know if a Tamiya Land Cruiser body will fit on this chassis:
http://www.rc4wdstore.com/2/product_...roducts_id=694

This chassis seems to be superior to the Tamiya CR-01 but I really do love the Land Cruiser body.

It should fit. You will need to find some mounts that are of appropriate length...

The Landcruiser wheelbase is much shorter than 12.5 inches. Can't find my tape right now to measure it tho. I set the body on my Losi comp crawler and it looked pretty silly. So without shortening the wheelbase on the truck itself you may want to look for a different body. Most sites that sell the bodies will also list the wheelbase.

Why that combination? I wouldn't use a scale body if I was planning on competing. That chassis is a competition chassis and deserver's a good comp body while the Land Cruiser body deserves a scale chassis IMO.

JeremyH answered your question it's defiantly doable.

Just cause I got burnt doesn't mean everyone should.
Besides like they say, "fire is our friend".

Ahh....it depends on where you ask the question and who decides to answer...usually in the Newbie section, the flame throwers are holstered. Sorry that you got flamed...

I don't plan on competing. I will use this just for a hobby. I really like the land cruiser look, but I the Tamiya CR-01 chassis doesn't look like it will be all that great(correct me if I am wrong). So that is why I am looking at other chassis. Have any suggestions?
