When it costs $25 a gallon for nitro fuel, it has a tendancy to die quite fast. Electric is cheaper, more reliable, extremely less maintinance, and a whole lot less of a mess. Not to mention that it just works so much better for this application. Nitro has it's strong points in racing and monster trucks, but everything over here is going electric. With the fuel cost issue, everything is switching over. Even the RC planes. And of course, electricity is pretty darn cheap. But anyways, I have yet to see a nitro crawler outdo even a much cheaper electric crawler.

I prefer Flux Capacitor crawlers over anything.
