| Rod Ends??
What are the best ones to use? I`m building a super and I`m not sure what ones to use. I was looking at some aluminum ones but I'm not sure if they are the best choice. Would it be better to have the plastic ones to flex, or are the aluminum ones the way to go?

For a super, you need something bigger than the Revo's....I use the Jato Long's on my TXT Super... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXKMD6&P=7 I find that the aluminum rod ends wear out quickly and have not had one of the Jato Longs break on me yet. |

Revo's have treated me well on everything I've used them on including a super. Revo's & Jato's are the exact same rod end except that the Jato has a longer shank where you thread it to the link. This can help strengthen the connection at the shank due to the added embedment of the thread to the end...but the ball & 'race" of both rod ends are the same thing. If you really want something larger that will be tougher than Revos...Kyosho makes some nice ends that are used on their 1:8 buggies and truggies. They also come in both straight and bent versions. Gmade also makes some pretty large and beefy rod ends. I'm not a fan of aluminum rod ends. They wear out fairly quickly and get sloppy on ya. Once they do this they also squeak...just annoying. I've also heard people complai about radio interference after the install aluminum rod ends. I've had a few and they wear very very quickly, and aren't exactly cheap. Revo's or Jatos are great, I believe dubro makes some pretty beefy ones too but I've not seem them in person. |

I use Revos on most every build and never had a problem either.
