Why? what does the 3PM-MX do that the EX-5UR doesn't do? Other than the rear steer programming? (a lot of crawlers won't use that) The EX-5 comes with 2 receivers, If you want a 2nd rx for the Futaba, you're looking at another 60-90 bucks. Both are good brands, and both will do the job, but IMO the KO looks better (not just appearance.)

These radios have the potential to dominate rock crawling. I have been telling anyone in the market for a new radio about these as you just can't beat the price considering you get 2 receivers. And they look pretty tiny.

Hey guys I just want to tell you that the UR5 is a great radio. After using it for a weekend I sold my Helios. The only drawback for me is that the antenna is fixed, it does not fold down or swivel so it's hard to find a case that fits it properly unless you want to tote it around in a aluminum one. Not only does it have all the functions of a "high" end radio it's very light weight. I love it. So I say get one if you are looking for a great radio thats almost half of a higher end one, plus the two rx's are a good bonus and they only cost 70 bucks if you need a third |

Can anyone with access to this radio post the manual, KO's site has the old ex-5 manual. My ex-1 is not doing well. The two rx's would be sweet one rock crawler the other 1/8 buggy. |
