Question Running digs on MOA set up

HI, i plan on doing a MOA on the LCC but i'm not sure how to set it up electronics wise, i would like to keep the tekin fxr that i have on it now if i could, Also how do you setup a dig without the transmission.

I use the Tekin Fx-R on all 3 of my rigs, super with elec dig, 2.2 berg with elec dig and my semi-scaler with the tekin fx-r. Love em.

Dig Diagram (middle of page) I used on my berg. Same for a one esc, two motor setup, so it should work on your Losi MOA.
Dig wires ?

My berg build. Sort of shows you the wiring setup. There are probably better pictures out there.

Just keep searching and reading. It took me a few days to get it straight in my head. It’s not hard to make one and costs about $20 and a good soldering iron, Two Holmes Hobbies switches and an HS-55 Hitec servo. You’ll need a 3 channel radio though (you might know that).

Hope that gets you started.

switches are cheap and relatively easy... PunkRC.com dig unit is the cleanest/easiest way to go though and it has an indicator light to tell you which/if the dig is engaged.

I have ran both and only recommend the punk over switches because it is cleaner and easier to install (not that either is hard)

Make a dig with switches and micro servo

Or get the punk rc dig switch...This is what I use and it works great and alot easier and cleaner wiring. http://www.punkrc.com/index.php?main...6e20dc8cfd2206

I ran a berg with the switch set up and then the punk rc set up.... it was much nicer with the punk unit, everything seems much smoother going that route, and like was said everything is routed cleaner.

Yep, look at my berg link I put in the above post. glued the switches onto the servo.

The punk R/C unit may be less hassle but it will be triple the cost. But you spend the time to make the mechanical switch too! either or.

You can also use micro switches from radio shack instead of the Holmes Hobbies. Holmes are definitely better but, easier to get from radio shack.

LK, here's a good write-up on the DUD dig (that uses switches):
D.U.D. Rear Dig "Write up"

Jarod only used one switch to dig the rear motor, but you can add another and have a dig on the front motor as well.
