Default If your on a Budget

I think if your on a tight budget you can find great prices on the AX10 RTR now. The best bet with you putting out alittle more money would be the AX10 RTC, because it is more comp ready out of the box. Both will need upgrades, but just to get your feet wet they would be a good choice. Just remember the budget.

If You're on a budget. I think you should get 30 posts or become a paying member and get a star, so you can view the for sale section. You will most likely be able to find a nice rtr rig with some mods already done for close to the same price as a RTR version crawler. If I had it to do over again thats what i'd do. there are way to many nice used rigs out there to pass up.

You can also find them on ebay every now and then. Or, buy a ster and become a "supporting member" so you can view the "for sale" section. Plus, w/the star, you can win free stuff!!! My star paid for itself within 3 weeks...

Im gonna have to go with the MRC, its cheaper than the rest, completely ready to run, (all batteries, charger, tools, electronics, and assembled) for around 230.00.
There are a ton of free mods, and upgrades for it wont break the bank.

IMHO, it is the best crawler deal out there. Sure the axial is a good buy, but the quality is not so great. Granted there are some iffy things with the MRC, but for the most part it boils down like this with the MRC, you gonna need lockers, (front and rear at least) and a servo (tho not immediatly). Other than that, you can get one running really well by just doing the free mods.

But.... It is a 1.9, and not a 2.2.

It comes down to what you want to do with it/where you want to crawl, what kind of "size" you like or dislike, and, of course, how much you want to spend.

But with that, I'll second Soundcolor's words above.
