| Two very different styles of rig. Just get one and drive the piss out of it. Drivetime is hands down the most important part I'm going to say Berg for the record though |

| from the berg owners stand point, what make's the losi seem like it is not competition to the berg? Last edited by KastanPro; 08-06-2009 at 09:49 AM. |

If you go MOA then honestly you start to level the playing field a lot. If you throw in a good controller like a 4PK or a stick radio then you can get almost the same feel, and get a free wheel like performance as well.

| After 4 comps and 7 runs and 7 breaks and throw in a few DNFs ,I think you will know my answer ,I have never actually owned or drove a berg yet ,One on the way as we speak ,But i have been spanked by plenty with my losi ,I have broke everytime I went to a comp ,I ordered the 6mm heavy duty cvds from ckrc it might be next year before I actually get them ,But Ill save the losi for a back up or a loaner rig .so you know my answer , |

| I have both, my Losi is sick out of the box, just had to pull my hair out to get it running the way I want, still not sure on the motor situation... As for my Berg, it's simple most idiots can drive the hell out of it! |

| My son has a berg and I HAD a Losi. After watching his dig unit work compared to Losi's there's no question to me. However, with the moa that came out a week after I sold the Losi it should be a very equal playing field. Luckily I sold my Losi to a friend and when I get my berg done we'll compare notes then. |

| I just sold my berg for a losi. I just do not like bergs as much because of the clod stall and track width. I will say that the bergs are very strong but they just don't cut it in tight comp courses. There too wide and don't turn sharp enough for me. Plus the losi has more diff clearance with rock claws than bergs with Rovers. Also on the high traction rocks that socal competes on, the dig does not lock very well at all. Just my $.02 |

So far the Losi has been a very reliable comp crawler. I've been in the top three to four places in the comps. I would have placed higher but made a few too many little errors.
