LST tires are way too big. I use them on my maxx crawler. But for the TLT, I use cut swamp dawgs. I cut out everyother tread, then cut slots in the remaining treads for flexibility.

I'm currently using some IMEX J-Haww T-Maxx wheels and tires. I trimmed the treads down quite a bit so they get excellent traction.

I've thought about narrowing a set of LST's down on some narrowed Maxx rims. If you narrowed them I don't think they would be any harder on the TLT than stock maxx sized tires.

Some people are using Clod Dualies on their TLTs which are about the same size as a narrowed LST tire.

I do however like my IMEX's. They are the soft compound version and get traction on a wide variety of terrain.

When you guys are talking about narrowing the rims and tires, Does that mean you guys cut a piece of the rim out?

I've used so many tires it's not even funny anymore I should probably do a "mini ultimate tire test" sometime....

I'll put them in order from best to worst

IMEX Pullers on narrowed rims
IMEX swamp dawgs (tie with the pullers)
IMEX J Hawgs
Team losi smashers
IMEX claw dawgs
Proline Dirt Hawgs
Wild willy2 tires on 2.2 rims

There's a few others but I didnt use them for long because they ether sucked or I just didnt like the look

That's one freaking hilarious avatar you got there highmark... I'm still laughing!

I've run the proline Masher 2k's and the imex Swamp dawgs. The swamp dawgs definately had better tire grip out of the package, with their rubber compound, and I felt I had better traction and looks with them. Both are good tires, and with creativity, you can alter the performance and looks of just about any tire. But, the imex swamp dawgs, pullers, proline mashers, and the traxxas stampede tires are some of the tallest 2.2" tires you can get, which helps with getting more clearance under the axle.
