Default 2.4 radio advice

I'm trying to decide between rtr and artr ax10 right now.

When looking at radios I'm thinking of at least 3 channels and 2.4 to avoid interference/ having multiple crystals.

I saw tower hobbies and other stores have cheap 2.4 radios but is it worth spending more for a radio?

I'd like some ideas for a good bang-for-the-buck radio system.

Thanks

both the spektrum dx3s or dx3r are great options depending on how many positions you need the 3rd channel to have

or look out for a DX3 (not 3.0) on ebay or here. much cheaper than a DX3R if you want a 3-position 3rd channel for 4ws/dig/winch
