Default Need build sheet for Losi CC on a tight budget

Is it possible to build a Losi CC 2.2 close to $600? Im looking at several build sheets for cc and all are over $800+. Just wondering if it's possible and what the build would be other than the kit? (with Dig)

Don't plan on competing yet. Just merging into crawling slowly and want to build a good solid truck to learn with.

Do you have any equipment already? Are you willing to buy used equipment? Since the CC has a worm gear you can get off using an esc that doesn't have brag brake which opens options up for inexpensive speed controls. If you aren't using the dig you can run a 2 channel radio. If you have a current car/truck you can use the tx/rx out of it. If not you can find TQ3 rx/tx combos for $25 off ebay if you look a little. People seem to be having decent luck with the Titan 550 motors out of the e-revo. They run pretty cheap on ebay as well. Toss in the servos that you like for your budget and you should be crawling under that $600 mark. If later on you want to upgrade to better servos or a better motor/esc you can without being out much cash. There are ways to do it on a budget you just have to look around for the deals.
