Default Need help crawling

I just got a Ax10 scorpian and i got everything set up and got the battery charged up all the way. when i am crawling up something the rc truck wants to studder or the clutch starts making these slipping noises. Is there anything that i can get to make my crawler better. I am using a 3000 NiMH battery 7.2. I don't know if the battery makes a difference

well if the clutch is sliupping it probably is :p try tighting it down, gotta remember these things are mass produced and its a good idea to check every screw and nut on the thing when you first get it .

what version did you get and what electronics are you running? it could also be knowen as "glitching" where the electronics get signals from no where and make the truck stop, jolt forward, twitch the steering servo etc

I am running the stock esc, servo, and other electrical items. I just put in a 45t lathe motor but i dont know if i should just go back to the 55t stock motor.

Well, the 45t is going to give you more wheel speed, however the 55t should have more torque.

More torque means more clutch slippage.

I would say tighten down that slipper first.
Give it 2 turns, and re-run it. Then, adjust from there
