| AX10 stock ESC w SR3100 -- Wiring?
I have a new AX10 RTR (AX90002) in which I am replacing the stock RX and steering servo. The ESC is a model AE1 and it has a black-white-red connector that goes to the RX. The replacement servo is a HiTec HS-5645MG with a black-red-yellow connector for the RX. Simple Question: How do these two connectors plug into the SR3100? I know the bit about 'THR' = throttle = ESC, 'STR' = steering = servo. Guess I'm asking if the black wire is 'always' negative (-) in this kind of connection? If it matters, I'm using a single Orion 4500 NiMH rocket pack for power. Yes, I am 'electricity illiterate'. Thanks y'all |

Yes, black is always the ground. Some servos have brown/red/orange....brown being the ground in this case.
