Default ESC problems.. help !!!!!!!

i just got me a new novak rooster crawler brushed esc. i have it hooked up to a traxxas reciever and traxxas radio. ibut i cant get it to program. please help im frustrated and ready to throw the whole crawler across the room. thanks for any help on this! i hold the set button down, turn on the esc and wait for the red light to come on. but after that i cant get it to program where the green light is suppost to turn on. the servos make no noise or movements. ive tried diffrent ways with the wires and nothing. thank for the tips though.

you can always take the easy way out and take it to your nearest hobby town and they usually will do it for free

Are you sure that the ESC is properly plugged into the Rx? If not, try turning it around...

Actually, that brings up a good point. Over the years I have owned a few Novak ESCs and EVERY single one of them had incorrect programming instructions.

Your best bet, if you have everything properly installed, is to call Novak support. They'll help you out. They also know about the instructions problem...

Both me and my friend had roosters. And it both met the same fate. A hard hit against the wall. User error? maybe, But it was worth seeing it hit the wall.

If your only getting a green light after proper programing!! your not using the forward and reverse throttle properly during the program sequence. A solid Red LED light indicates neutral and now it has been properly programed.
