MRC with Lipo

Does the stock MRC esc have a cut off for a Lipo batt? I was told to pay attention and when the truck starts to lose power (with is supposed to happen fast) stop and charge the batt. But as soon as it seems to lose power the esc shuts down and nothing works. I am getting around 60 to 70 min of run time and i have the Losi 7.4V 1000mAh 2S Lipo batt/charger combo pack. It was about $35.

Nope....no LVC. There should be no problem with the ESC running that battery, but without the LVC, you'll over-discharge that battery and damage it...

Whats an LVC and where could i get one? Or will any hobby shop have them.

Low Voltage Cutoff. It's a device that cuts power at a certain voltage to help protect the lipo. Most higher end ESCs have the built in and can be adjustable. The voltage per cell should not drop below 3.0V....so your 2S lipo needs to have, at a minimum, a LVC set to 6.0V.

Yeah, any decent hobby shop should have them.
