Default shortening wheelbase?

hello to all, i'm not a complete noobie but got a ?. is there another way to shorten the wheelbase without shortening the lower links. i'm working on my mrc and have the wheelbase at 8.75" and can't seem to get it to 8.5". i don't want to take the lower links i have on it off, but if i have to i will. any thoughts? i've tried moving uppers and tried different shock positions. kinda stumped. thanks in advance for the help.

Not sure how long your rod ends are but you could try taking a dremel to them and shaving a little off each. I recently had to do this with my Axial links that use 4mm rod ends. My screws were not bottoming out into the rod end, so I dremeld down until they were, helped get my wheelbase to regulation.
